A little bit (mmmk a lot) about me:
I love snuggling. My love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation.
ENFP is me all day. I first took the Meyer’s Briggs test and have since taken it many times. It never waivers.
I love people and enjoy finding common ground with people from different walks of life. I want to know everyone’s story.
Writing has always been incredibly necessary and cathartic for me.
A true extrovert, I feel most alive when I’m surrounded by people.
I grew up in an incredible family. My parents are high school sweethearts and have been married for almost 50 years. They are also two of my favorite people on the planet. I have two older sisters whom I adore and cry most times when we have to leave after a weekend together. I feel most myself with these people.
And these people… My husband and children are my world. I’m lucky enough to truly have a best friend in my husband which makes being parents together all the more incredible. Our kids are characters and way cooler than we are. Being their mom will always be my greatest source of pride.
I cherish my girlfriends more than I could ever articulate. We are pretty great at allowing each other to just be who we are.
I’m obsessed with big furry creatures, namely dogs. Our Newfoundland Grizz was the most perfect creature I’ve ever known. My heart still hasn’t fully recovered since losing him.
I was 200 lbs at 15 years old and spent most of my formative years overweight. It’s a big part of my journey and I am proud of what it gave me.
Quoting movies and old-skool rap are two things that encapsulate me, ya heard.
I talk to God and the people I love in heaven a lot. They mostly listen.
I’m the baby of the family through and through. Birth order fascinates me.
Having to promote myself makes me uncomfy but it’s connected me to so many more people.
Studying abroad during college changed the course of my life and I’m forever grateful.
I’m terribly non-observant about things. My mom says it’s because we pay attention to people, not things. I’ll go with that.
The best compliment I could ever get is simply to be liked and appreciated for who I am.
I have less and less time for judgmental people. I don’t care for negativity and I think people should do what makes them happy.
Little nugget kids and sweet senior citizens make me really happy. Being the closest people to God, I think they’re his way of reminding us what’s important.
I love singing karaoke. Salt N Pepa is my go-to.
I think everyone should publish a book- we all have a unique story to tell.
